3/20 ヤマザクラ開花
こんにちは、肥後細川庭園です。
気温がぐんぐん上昇し、目まぐるしく季節が変化しているのを感じますね。
ソメイヨシノに続き、３/２０にヤマザクラが開花しました。
葉と花が両方見られるのがヤマザクラの特徴です。
池の縁にも１本ヤマザクラがあるのですが、まだ数輪の開花です。
満開になる時期は、様々な季節の中でも特に美しい時期です。
園内では、ソメイヨシノとヤマザクラ、枝垂れザクラ、ヤエザクラの４種類の
サクラを見ることができます。

ヤエザクラは、ソメイヨシノが散った後に咲き始めるので、現在庭園で見られるのは３種類のサクラです。
少し目立ちにくいですが、アオキの花芽もたくさんついておりました。
徐々に庭園に花が増えてきました。

It’s a little inconspicuous, but it also had a lot of flower buds of Japanese Aucuba. Flowers are gradually increasing in the garden.
